Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP:
To make full use of
Perl Builder 2.0 for Windows you need to download and install the following two
components:
1. Perl Builder 2.0
IDE (required)
Perl Builder's integrated
development environment allows you to create CGI scripts visually and provides an
interface which makes it easy to write, test and debug Perl scripts.
Perl Builder 14-day
Evaluation Copy (approx 2.8 MB)
Note: If you previously
installed an evaluation copy of Perl Builder prior to v. 2.0c, this file will give you a new
14 day trial period for version 2.0c--even if your previous trial expired. (However,
you cannot get a new trial by reinstalling if you already evaluated v 2.0c)

2. Perl for 32-bit
Windows (strongly recommended)
In order to run and debug your
scripts with Perl Builder, you must also have the 32-bit Windows version of Perl installed
on your computer. Like all versions of Perl, the 32-bit Windows port is freeware. (You do
not need to download this component if you already have Perl on your computer).
The link below will allow you to download ActivePerl(tm) for
Windows. The Perl installation is provided in two formats:
MSI (Windows Installer)
is recommended if you are using Windows 2000 or later, or if you have the
Windows Installer 2.0+ on Windows 98, Me or NT.
If you cannot install the MSI file on your
system, then download and install the AS package instead. A more detailed
list of system requirements for installing Perl is available here.
Download ActivePerl (tm)
If you have problems downloading from the above
link, then try starting here:
