Using the Batch Converter and Extending WordToWeb

This chapter covers two powerful features which allow you to automate and customize the WordToWeb conversion process.

  • The WordToWeb Batch Converter is a utility which makes it easy to automatically run conversions on multiple projects or documents. For example, if you need to convert several large projects on a regular basis, you can create a batch script and then run all the conversions overnight. The Batch Converter also allows you to execute WordToWeb from the command line.
  • Pre- and Post-Conversion programs and scripts allow developers or users to customize the WordToWeb conversion process.
